Keller, Texas
The most hometown of the three.
Keller is where the word community still means something. Friday nights at the stadium, a real homecoming parade, neighbors who know your dog’s name, and trails that run through the middle of it. More house for the money than its neighbors to the east, and enough different neighborhoods that finding the right one takes a conversation.

The short version
Keller in three lines.
01
Pace
Grounded and engaged. Youth leagues fill up fast, park life is real life, and newcomers find their people quickly.
02
Homes
A satisfying mix: established neighborhoods with mature trees alongside newer communities with modern layouts, from strong entry points in the $500Ks to true estates above $3M.
03
The trade-off
If boutique retail and high-end dining at your doorstep are non-negotiable, that is Southlake, ten minutes away. Keller is real life, done well.
Fit
Is Keller right for you?
It tends to fit if you
want a true community feel and strong schools without the pressure; like park life, trails, and neighborhood events; and want more space and home for your money than the towns to the east.
Look next door if you
want a town square and the highest-profile version of everything, or bigger lots with older trees and a quieter evening. Southlake and Colleyville are each a short drive.

Typical range: $550K to $1.2M
Hidden Lakes
Keller’s most recognized community, built around lakes, trails, and a waterfall, with a strong amenity center and a full event calendar. Families who move here tend to stop looking. Homes here command a premium over comparable square footage elsewhere in Keller, and it holds at resale.

Creekwood at Hidden Lakes
A sub-community within the Hidden Lakes corridor. Slightly larger lots, a quieter pocket, and the same trail access and amenities.

Harmonson Farms
Established, with generous lot sizes and a settled feel. Good square footage for the price, strong resale, and the kind of neighborhood where people stay.

Twin Lakes
Water views, mature landscaping, and a community built around its lakes. A strong mid-range option for buyers who want more than a standard subdivision feel.

Oakmont Hills
Keller’s move-up sweet spot. Larger lots, stronger finishes, and homes with room to stop looking. The upper end competes with entry-level Southlake at a meaningfully lower price.
Typical range: $1.3M to $2M
Manors at Waterford
Keller’s luxury ceiling. Custom-quality homes, significant square footage, and outdoor living that makes the price make sense, with trails, parks, and Keller ISD still built around it. A legitimate alternative to Southlake and Colleyville at this price point.
Typical range: $2.3M to $3.4M
Schools
Keller ISD: strong results without the pressure.
Keller ISD has earned a reputation for standout results without the high-intensity culture of some neighboring districts, with several campuses that have earned regional and state recognition. Families here tend to want their children challenged academically and still have time to be children. Keller ISD also reaches into parts of Southlake and neighboring cities, and Keller addresses can fall into more than one attendance zone, so verify the specific address with the district’s boundary tool before you write an offer.
Getting around
Ten minutes to Southlake Town Square.
Keller sits west of Southlake and Colleyville with easy runs to both, about ten minutes to Southlake Town Square and a reasonable drive to DFW Airport and Fort Worth. Trail access, proximity to Bear Creek Park, and distance to Keller Town Center shape the day-to-day more than an extra bedroom does, so know which of those matter to you before you tour.
Things to do
Park life, and Old Town.
Bear Creek Park and the trail system that threads through the city’s neighborhoods, Keller Town Center, and Old Town Keller for shopping and dining. Friday nights at the stadium, the homecoming parade, and a neighborhood event calendar that newcomers find their way into within a season.
The heads-up: the best homes in Keller move. The buyers who land well know what they are looking for before they start touring, and they move when a home is right rather than waiting for one that is perfect. Right location, right layout, right outdoor space; those three matter more than the countertops.
Questions people ask
Keller, answered.
Is Keller a good place to live?
Yes, especially if what you want is a real community and more home for the money. Established and newer neighborhoods, a well-regarded school district, parks and trails, and Southlake ten minutes away when you want the scene. The trade-off is that boutique retail and high-end dining are a short drive rather than at your door.
Keller or Southlake?
Keller generally gives you more house and lot for the money and a more grounded pace. Southlake gives you Town Square, Carroll ISD, and the higher-profile version of everything. Oakmont Hills and Manors at Waterford in Keller compete directly with entry-level Southlake, often for meaningfully less.
What school district is Keller in?
Keller ISD serves the city, and it also reaches into neighboring areas. Attendance zones vary by street, so verify the specific address with the district’s boundary tool before you write an offer.
What does a home in Keller cost?
The market runs from roughly $550K at the entry point to about $3.4M at the top. Most relocating buyers land between $700K and $1.4M, where the choice comes down to trail access, lot size, and which community fits the life you are building.
