I have nothing but great things to say about Amy! I have worked with a handful of other realtors in the past and have been very discouraged by their lack of knowledge, responsiveness, etc. However, I cannot recommend Amy enough. She was such a big help through this house buying process and as a first-time homebuyer, I had a lot of questions - both that I did know to ask, and others I didn't know what to ask and she was so helpful with all of the above. Amy Spock is amazing! From the first meeting to closing, Amy was in constant communication with us explaining everything we needed to know about selling our home and patiently answering all of our questions. At our first meeting, Amy was very clear about the process of selling our home. She walked through the house pointing out things we needed to fix, clean, change, or add in order to improve the sell of our home. She provided us with the best information on the way to stage our home, and while it did require buying some items, it made a huge difference at closing. Amy works with a very talented photographer as well. She walked him through our home and explained exactly what she wanted him to focus on in order to provide possible buyers with an accurate view of our home. Amy explained in detail what she believed would be the best asking price for our home when it came time to list our home. She showed us the comps on houses sold in our neighborhood and how our home compared to those previously sold. Additionally, she explained that the best time to go "live" would be on a Thursday with an open house on Saturday. Within hours of the house going live, realtors were already requesting to show the house. Amy did a fantastic job with the open house. Due to all of Amy's suggestions and her hard work, we were able to sell our home in 4 1/2 days and considerably over our asking price. While it was on the market, Amy kept us completely updated on all offers and advised us on all our options. After several offers were submitted, she encouraged us to close the bidding and what she considered was our best offer. Once we were under contract, Amy was very clear on what we needed to do including the inspections and other processes. She was a great negotiator on repair costs to meet inspection concerns. The reason Amy is so amazing at her job is because she is constantly staying up to date on her training. This and her years of experience is why we recommend Amy as the best realtor you can have on your side when selling your home.
